Google defines the word "Inspire" as "filling someone with the urge or ability to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.  Also, to create a feeling, especially a positive one, in a person, to animate someone with such a feeling."

I thought I would tell you about 7 things and people that fill me with this wondrous feeling...

1. Planning a trip

We recently took a trip and during the planning stages we started looking at airfares...as soon as we bought our plane tickets I was filled with enthusiasm and immediately started to pack.  

2. Travelling

I looove to explore new cities or, just hang around the pool or beach.  If I'm travelling, I am absorbing all that my senses can take in about everyone and everything.

3. Books

I adore reading.  I have been a voracious reader since my late teens.  When I find a good read it's like finding a new world to inhabit for a while.

4. Movies

There have been countless movies that have inspired me to do something creative...might have been a new outfit I put together or a new makeup look or a new way of expressing myself.

5. Podcasts

My new addiction.  I will share many of the podcasts I can't stop listening to with you.  I have tried so many great ideas that I have learned about while listening to podcasts.  great stuff.

6. Music

Nuff said.  I love to dance and music inspires me to move and groove while cleaning the kitchen or on the dance floor or while working.

7. Hanging out with friends

Spending time with people that I love to be around gets my creative juices flowing.  I love interacting with people...it energizes me.

8. My Niece

She sings to herself quite often and comes up with the coolest pieces of art in seconds flat with nothing but mere play doh or sand at the beach. So cool.

9. My husband

Of all the things and people that inspire me, spending time with my husband fills me with a million creative ideas.  <3
